New print for Dosh's 2011 Cedar Cultural Center concert

Yesterday we debuted our newest screenprinted concert poster, created for our friend Dosh's annual winter concert at Cedar Cultural Center. Read More

Dosh at Cedar Cultural Center
Artist: Mike Davis

Our friend Martin Dosh is a man of many musical hats. He's an in-demand drummer, providing the rhythms for local BRLSQ-favorited rock outfit Cloak Ox as well as nationally-renowned artist Andrew Bird. As a solo artist, Dosh has taken a unique approach to creating and performing music. Surrounding himself with a drum set, keyboards, and a whole slew of musical toys and effects pedals, he builds layers and layers of lush Fender Rhodes chords, noodly synthesizer patterns, angelic glockenspiel notes, and intricate drum beats.

The Cloak Ox
Artist: Wes Winship

Well we've been talking about them quite a bit lately - they're one of our favorite new rock groups to come along in a long while in Minneapolis and they are indeed The Cloak Ox. Comprised of Andrew Broder, Jeremy Ylvisaker, Martin Dosh, and Mark Erickson, these guys have been churning out some high-powered, thoughtful, non-pretentious rock music and just released their brand new "Prisen" EP through the Minneapolis-based Totally Gross National Product label.

Eight Is Enough print
Artist: Mike Davis

Are we better off than we were 8 years ago? It's time to get these elephant bozos out of Washington before they rot our country back to the stone ages. This poster was designed by Mike Davis for the Eight Is Enough conert in St. Paul MN, held just days before the 2008 Republican National Convention kicked off in the same city. Twin Cities musical artists Low, Dosh, P.O.S, and Burlesque's own DJs Winship and Mike 2600 had the Turf Club bursting at the seams with hopeful young rock and rap enthusiasts for what all considered to be a huge success of a rock show!

Dosh: Pure Trash album release print
Artist: Wes Winship

Martin Dosh is a great man. He is a drummer extraordinaire, hitting the skins for a number of local groups before joining Andrew Bird's touring band. His self-released debut solo album caught the attention of anticon, who quickly snatched up and re-released it on their label. For his sophomore album "Pure Trash", it was time for some release parties... That is in between being a dad, husband, drum teacher, and faculty at a Twin cities elementary school. Somehow he pulled it all off.
